What You’ll Be Doing:
As the WHS Advisor, you’ll take the lead on safety, ensuring compliance and driving a proactive approach across the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining effective safety practices across projects.
- Staying up to date with OHS/WHS regulations and ensuring alignment across all activities.
- Conducting site audits, risk assessments, and workplace safety training.
- Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
- Enhancing and maintaining safety systems, templates, and documentation.
- Working closely with leadership and project teams to foster a strong safety culture.
- Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A Diploma in WHS (preferred) and solid experience with ISO45001 standards.
- TAE qualification and strong knowledge of NSW building industry classifications (e.g., Class 2, Class 5).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
- A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
- Full Australian work rights, a valid driver’s licence, and a current Police Check.
