Job Description

This company has been established on the Northern Beaches for many years and their reputation is faultless; they have a business that is built on long-term relationships with their loyal clientele and their staff retention is second to none. Working alongside very hands on Directors this business constantly goes from strength to strength and we are now looking for a new Commercial Bookkeeper to join this team and manage all Bookkeeping functions.

The role:

A pure Monday to Friday role based of out of modern offices in a central Northern Beaches location this role will have you working in with a team of 12 staff. With the current Bookkeeper making a change after 10 years we can assure you that the accounts will be in tip top shape from the moment you take over. Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing mid-month and end of month statement runs
  • Daily reconciliation of rents
  • Processing invoices and disbursements
  • Process levies and external accounts
  • Bank reconciliation for sales & rental trusts
  • Process exchanges and settlements
  • Company payroll
  • Commission calculations
  • PAYG & BAS calculations

The Candidate:

The person who will be successful in securing this role will have at least 3 years Real Estate bookkeeping experience (will consider Residential) and will have a minimum of a certificate of registration. You will have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised and systematised and be able to work as part of a close-knit team. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential as are 5 star customer service skills.
