Job Description

My client is a leading national real estate group with an incredibly successful commercial arm that turn over close to $3Billion in commercial transactions each year. Based in the trendy inner city this office has an exciting opportunity that has just opened for an experienced Property Manager to step in and running a growing commercial portfolio. Set in an open plan office with a small yet growing team this high performing team are ready to take property management to the next level with your expert assistance.

The role:

This Monday - Friday role will see you reporting in at Director level as you manage a quickly expanding portfolio of 60 commercial properties that are all located within 10klm for the CBD, the role offers a large degree of autonomy and future career growth to step up into a senior member of the team long term. Your responsibilities will include;

  • Lease preparation, negotiation of renewals, options and reviews
  • Arrears management
  • Rent reviews and outgoings reconciliations
  • In/outgoing and periodic inspections
  • Manage the growing portfolio of 60 (retail, commercial, hotels)
  • Manage repairs, maintenance and make-goods
  • Developing new business and expanding existing client relationships
  • Leasing vacant properties until the portfolio further expands
  • Assist with mid and end of month trust accounting


  • Strong knowledge of the act and a current certificate of registration
  • Sharp presentation, with a confident communication style
  • Drive to grow with the portfolio and help build a team under you
  • End to end portfolio management including leasing and business development
  • Knowledge of Property Tree highly desirable but not essential
  • Process driven, strong attention to detail and a confident negotiator
