Job Description

My client is one of Sydney's leading corporate communication consultancies who take care of a wide range of property clients from developers through to real estate and sales and marketing groups to name a few. Established for over 20 years with an enviable client base this thriving communications group has some incredible new accounts coming on in the coming months and they need an experienced communications professional to join the team and manage these accounts.

The role:

This exciting industry is anything but the mundane 9-5 corporate grind and my client is much the same! You will be assigned a select group of new and existing client accounts to manage the end to communication for matters such as media relations, crisis management, promotions, special events, marketing, and investor relations. This role will see you act as the central point of contract for each client with the media; you will attend regular strategy meetings, preparing speeches and press releases, arranging events and promotional activity along with gaining media coverage plus so much more.

The ideal candidate:

Stepping into this expanding business it is essential you are coming from a communications background within the real estate or property industry or where you have worked with property, development or real estate clients. The property industry is fast moving and really is its own beast so having an understanding of how it works is what is crucial to the success of this role. You will have worked in the communications industry for ideally 5+ years and still have a burning passion for what you do.

Your flexibility to work beyond the 9-5 and offer 5 star customer service is required, you will get to attend some exciting events and deal with all types of media outlets, you will have the flexibility to work from home at times and will be working under the guidance of an experienced Director that has a wealth of knowledge and connections.
