A cover letter is the introduction to your application, it is a document that will be closely reviewed not only to see if you possess the relevant experience for the role you have applied for but to also see what your written communication skills, grammar and punctuation are all like. It is crucial to get this document right but also to have relevant content and to get to the point. Do keep in mind that your cover letter should be tailored to each role and you should closely consider the content of the job ad when writing your letter so you make reference to relevant experience and skills the advertiser is looking for. Resolver Recruitment has stepped out a winning format for writing a cover letter to help you with your next job application.
