1. Implement a “Time Journal” every day. Get out an Excel doc and draw up time sheets that start from the moment you wake up till the moment you get into bed by 20 minute increments. This will help gain unprecedented clarity into your schedule and put you into a rhythm to manage time
2. Draw up a Perfect Week Schedule and use this to schedule the most to least important goals for the week. This will help increase your productivity and make time for your personal day to day activities and people who matter to you the most.
3. Fill out a “10 Fewer Hours Grid” to break up What you hate doing, What is NOT your job, What you should stop doing and What are your distractions. By simply completing this exercise, you will save 10-15 hours a week.
4. Understand the “Price of Gold” by breaking up two columns to set out the good and the bad validations from the environment you are surrounded by. Take a minute to complete this exercise and the cost of your happiness, personal life, sleep and sanity will make count
