Our client is a highly regarded residential real estate agency that offers exceptional client experiences, expert property advice, and market knowledge. We are seeking a trustworthy and experienced real estate trust accountant for a mid-tier agency. As someone familiar with ethical standards, industry codes of conduct, and the Residential Tenancies Act 2010, you should also have a proven track record of paying attention to detail, being accurate, and possessing strong communication skills, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
As the new trust accountant, your responsibilities will include managing trust accounts for both sales and property management. For property management, you will be expected to perform daily reconciliations, tenant rent receipting, creditor and landlord disbursements (Twice Weekly), end-of-month and mid-month processes etc for a rent roll of 450. Similarly, your duties for sales will involve managing trust systems, daily receipting, daily reconciliations, preparing settlement and refund paperwork, reporting, and auditing. Experience with PropertyTree, AgenctBox and all ATO portals will be highly regarded.
To be considered, you must have solid experience in a similar role in a Residential Real Estate Agency, hold a current Real Estate or Certificate.
