General Manager

We are recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead a flagship Build to Rent (BTR) residential asset located in Sydney CBD.

This is a senior leadership role within a 6-star, resort-style residential building, reporting directly to an institutional shareholder. The role requires strong governance, reporting capability and the confidence to operate in a high-expectation tenant environment. This is a Monday to Friday role offering stability, scale and genuine career progression within the Build to Rent sector.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end operational management of a premium Build to Rent asset
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of 7
• Full responsibility for budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
• Prepare and deliver formal reports to institutional stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act
• Manage complex and demanding tenant matters professionally
• Maintain service excellence across a luxury, high-amenity building

About You

• Background in Residential Property Management (essential)
• Class 1 Licence (essential)
• Proven experience reporting to institutional or corporate stakeholders
• Strong capability in budget management and financial reporting
• Excellent working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
• Confident managing high-value, high-expectation tenant environments
• Professional, composed and commercially minded
