We’re partnering with an established Tier 2 residential builder delivering large-scale projects across Sydney. With several developments underway and more in the pipeline, they’re looking for a Safety Officer who enjoys being on-site, working closely with people, and helping teams deliver projects safely. This role suits someone who is practical and approachable, able to build strong relationships with subcontractors while maintaining clear safety standards.

You’ll support WHS across major residential construction projects, working closely with site teams to ensure safety systems are implemented properly and standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage safety documentation including SWMS, risk assessments and safety management plans
- Conduct site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures
- Investigate incidents and support corrective actions and improvements
- Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, cranage and temporary works
- Experience in a Safety Coordinator or WHS role within construction
- Exposure to large-scale residential or high-rise projects
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation
- Comfortable working with subcontractors and site teams
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
